Dubuque's Valcin Wins NCAA Pole Vault Title

Dubuque junior Rick Valcin won a jump-off Thursday to win the men's pole vault title at the 2014 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University. Valcin became the second Iowa Conference pole vaulter to win an NCAA title following Simpson's Kip Janvrin in 1988.
